Project Info:

In 2010, the Institute for Islamic and Peace Studies (LAKIP) revealed that 48% of school students agreed on religious violence. The Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) also found an increase in students who agreed that the Khilafah should replace the Indonesian constitutional system of a reputable university. Among them are UGM, UI, IPB, UNDIP, and UNAIR. Survey conducted by the social science department of Islamic State University Syarif Hidayatullah under the supervision of the religious ministry said that 23.6% of students justify violence as a way to reply to those who oppose Islam. Indicates that many students are vulnerable to radical messages.

SAVE plans to help provide an understanding of violent extremism and promoting peace through boardgame and creative media. SAVE also intends to spread the message of peace in Islam and the importance of tolerance. This program is fully supported by United nation development program (UNDP) and the Center for Islamic and Community Study (PPIM)
