Hebat Facilitation

Hebat Facilitation has collaborated with PeaceGeneration Indonesia to address three major educational issues in Indonesia. PeaceGen provides training on the 12 Basic Peace Values, 21st-Century Teacherand Happy Anti-bullying in this program.

Why does Hebat Facilitation collaborate with PeaceGeneration Indonesia?

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has identified three major problems in the world of education in Indonesia.

To address these issues, there is a need for peace education to develop attitudes of understanding, tolerance, and friendship regardless of racial and religious differences in the educational environment.

Therefore, Hebat Facilitation, as an institution for the development of teachers and educational staff, collaborates with PeaceGeneration Indonesia as a provider of peace-related training to help address these problems. In this program, Hebat Facilitation invites with P4 East Jakarta to equip deputy principals with an understanding and skills to foster a culture of peace among students.

What is the Impact of the Collaboration between Hebat Facilitation and PeaceGeneration Indonesia?

In this program, PeaceGeneration Indonesia has provided an understanding of the importance of peace education for preventing bullying by fostering tolerance, love for others, non-violence, and harmony through the 12 Basic Peace Values.

They have also equipped high school deputy principals with skills in implementing peace education through various school activities, both intra-curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular, using 21st-Century Teacher materials training.

Through the training, participants could develop a design for peace education and stages oriented towards shaping an anti-bullying generation from happy anti-bullying materials. Additionally, participants could present the results of drafting the implementation plan for peace education in their respective schools.

Hebat Facilitation and PeaceGeneration Indonesia, has successfully trained more than 230 principals and deputy principals in North Jakarta for primary to high school levels, with good testimonies and understanding of the materials provided. Some deputy principals have already tried one of PeaceGeneration Indonesia's curricula, the 21st-Century Teacher Curriculum, as a supporting tool for their teaching.
